Island Books is owned & run by Liz Groves. I came to Malta in 1975 and started a Book Shop for an Animal Charity. Many of you will remember my Book Fairs which attracted large crowds.

I opened as Island Books on1 May 1991 and the shop is situated at the front of our old farmhouse in Mosta. There are over 20,000 titles arranged on 1350 feet of shelving.

My main specialities are Arts & Humanities from BA – PhD level. I also carry a very wide selection of Music Scores from Miniatures to full Orchestral Scores.

For the widest and most interesting choice of books in Malta you are invited to come in and browse.

Shop opens : Saturdays, Sundays & Festas from 8.00am-5.00pm
Appointments can be made for mid week visits
